Drawing every day for a month, it sounds like a tall order doesn't it! I thought I'd give it a go to get me drawing more and, yep, it worked. Knowing that I had to draw every day, even if I was busy or felt tired, meant that sometimes I had to dash off any old thing. Some of those gestural 'quickies' have turned out to be my favourites.
People who took part in the challenge posted their daily drawings to the
28 Drawings Later facebook page. It was a real pleasure to see everyone else's drawings and I particularly enjoyed seeing work where the artist had chosen a theme and developed a series of related drawings.

The project culminated in a 'real-world' exhibition at The Old Hairdressers in Glasgow on 4 March. Along with others who couldn't be there in person, I sent off copies of my contributions and look forward to seeing the photos from the night.

Thank you to
Victoria Evans, the artist who runs the challenge, and to all who took part for inspiring me to keep drawing.
